You will notice that it is Batman who sits on the right hand side and Robin on the left. Now, corgi assumed the positions would be the same as the car and made it the way we know, but if i remember correctly the boat itself was made by a company called glastron in a DIFFERENT state, so the drivers wheel went on the right hand side and corgi had put it on the left. Since it meant changing the entire mould, and they had already made a few, corgi simply left it. They never did change it!!
